Globetrotting Globetrotters

The Harlem Globetrotters recently embarked on a 21-day tour of the Middle East with scheduled visits to 12 different U.S. Military bases located in five different countries just prior to the holiday season. The tour will include games and "meet and greets" in Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Djibouti, Africa, and a game aboard an active U.S. aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf. This marks the third consecutive year the Globetrotters have visited troops overseas during December, made possible by Navy Entertainment and Armed Forces Entertainment. The Globetrotters, celebrating their 81st consecutive season in 2007, will return to the United States to tip-off their 2007 North American Tour on December 26th.
