First-Time Voter Gets A Little Help

A woman voting for the first time on Tuesday at P.S. 115 needed a little assistance from election workers, who explained how to properly use the voting machine and how to elect the candidates of her choice. (The impartial workers did nothing to try to influence her selections.) Poll workers said the turnout at midday was a little higher than usual.
