After 20 years of service with the NYPD, Sergeant Andrew Baur is retiring and, during the October meeting of the 69th Precinct Community Council at St. Alban's Church, was honored by Commanding Officer Captain Ralph Monteforte, who presented Baur with a plaque.
"Sergeant Baur has been a patrol officer, a conditioning sergeant and an anti-crime sergeant," said Monteforte. "His last day will be Wednesday, November 1 and I want to thank him for all the brave and courageous work he's done with this precinct over the years."
