This 1997 Toyota was crushed after it collided with a 2002 Ford at the corner of East 83rd Street and Flatlands Avenue on October 18 at about 8:30 a.m. Police from the 69th Precinct said the driver of the Toyota was treated at the scene by Emergency Medical Service paramedics. After being questioned by police, the driver of the Ford was allowed to drive away. Each driver blamed the other for going through a yellow light prior to the crash, police said.
