Kingsbrook Launches "Trickle Up" Program For New Businesses
Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center last week hosted the launching of the "Mildred Robbins Leet Entrepreneural Grant Program" in its Lillian Minkin Ballroom. The program provides seed capital and business training essential for the establishment of 70 micro enterprises in the local community. On hand for the event were several elected officials and dignitaries.
Trickle Up has been working in Brooklyn for more than ten years to assist low-income individuals to become financially independent. Since 1994, Trickle Up's U.S. program has supported 4,000 small businesses with grants and training.
