WFAN Sports Radio To Host Night At KeySpan July 13th

The Brooklyn Cyclones recently announced that as part of their fifth season, they have teamed up with WFAN, the radio home of the NY Mets, to present WFAN night at KeySpan Park on Wednesday, July 13 at 7:00 p.m.

In addition, WFAN radio personalities Sid Rosenberg and Joe Benigno will provide the play by play for WFAN’s broadcast of the Cyclones game versus the Williamsport Crosscutters that night. This will be the first time that the NY Mets Class A short season team will be broadcast on the station.

The first 2,500 fans to arrive at the stadium that night will receive bobblehead dolls of radio personalities Rosenberg and Benigno. Additionally, sixty lucky fans will win tickets on air to attend the game and an exclusive WFAN picnic at the ballpark.

“WFAN is the premier sports radio station in New York, and we are excited to be partnering with them this year,” says Steve Cohen, general manager of the Brooklyn Cyclones. “WFAN listeners will be able to experience the thrill of minor league baseball in a traditionally major league town.”

“During the Major League All-Star break New Yorkers still want their baseball,” says Mark Chernoff, Operations Director of WFAN. “It makes sense for us to take the opportunity of the All-Star break to partner with the Cyclones.”

Tickets for the July 13 game are on sale now. Bleacher seats are only $5, and field and box seats are reasonably priced at $10 and $12.
