While the Cole Bros. Circus title dates back to 1884, you’ll find nothing old about the 2005 edition of The World’s Largest Circus Under The Big Tip! The redesigned interior of the circus tent sets the stage for the most up-close and personal circus you’ll ever see, with spectators seated literally inches away form the action.

Under a deep blue sea of canvas lit with stars, artists from around the globe will astound you with their skill and bravado. Twisting and turning from their trampoline, the daring men of the Yan Dong Troupe propel themselves across the arena, using their legs only to latch onto “monkey poles.” With his petite Bulgarian bride Victoria perched on a trapeze below, Brazilian daredevil Andrey races his Astrocycle atop a wire that spans the heights of the hippodrome. Lithe and lovely Yu Sinmeg and Tong Jai completely contort their torsos, striking fantastic, elastic postures while balancing an amazing array of objects at the same time. Russia’s vivacious Maiya Panfilova, a real life Cat Woman, transforms Center Ring into a garden of flowers where her costumes change faster than you can say Abracadabra! Ro-mania’s creative genius, Veniamin, brings The Human Slinky to life. But is it man or machine? No matter, it’s a delight.

Clowns, jugglers, aerialists, Chinese lions and the Dancing Octopus join the Ukrainian Cannonball in amusing and amazing audiences. Dancing Octopus, you ask? Seeing is believing, so make a date to see Superheroes Of The Big Top!

In America, the circus has spanned all generations throughout our young nation’s past, found its way into our everyday language, and has become forever intertwined with some of the most momentous events and greatest heroes in our history. It has, in some sense also filled a void in a nation without common heritage, providing a mythology to a population otherwise so culturally diverse.

It is indeed a national treasure, leaving each successive generation a bit richer, lending itself as a collective legacy for all our children to share..
