Queens Man Shot After Argument In Breukelen Houses Parking Lot A man from Queens Village who was visiting friends at Breukelen Houses last Thursday was shot once in the leg when he became involved in a dispute with another man, police said. The shooting occurred in the parking lot at 619 East 108 Street shortly after midnight on June 9, according to a report filed at the 69th Precinct. Detective Sergeant William Herbert said the 23-year old victim, whose name was not released, was sitting in a car with his friends when the shooter came up to the car and got into an argument with the victim. “The man pulled out a black handgun, ” Herbert said, “and just began firing.” He said the victim was struck as he and his friends scattered out of the parking lot. The shooter then fled in an unknown direction. The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital by EMS paramedics. He was pronounced in stable condition. Police canvassed the area and, according to Herbert, found numerous shell casings. The attacker was described as black and about 20 years old. Anyone with information is asked to call (718) 257-6215.
