...5, 6, 7, 8, DANCE!
Some students at P.S. 115 were footloose and fancy free last week for the school’s Dance Festival. Held at the East 92nd Street elementary school on June 7, several classes, parents and guests lined the schoolyard to watch students steppin’ out to modern and classic dances, including ballet, the Cha-Cha, the Twist, Macarena and hip hop. Dance coordinator Jackie Zammit choreographed the opening ballet segment (above) as 3rd, 4th and 5th graders gracefully moved to George Benson’s soulful, “Here Comes The Sun.” Several students gathered around Zammit (below) to show their appreciation.
