Circus For Kids Provides Day Of Fun At St. Jude School

Circus For Kids, a theatrical unit featuring juggling and balancing acts, a magic fire show and incredible acrobatic stunts, worked their own brand of magic on youngsters — as well as teachers — from St. Jude School last Friday.

Students gathered in the gymnasium and happily munched on popcorn, cotton candy and soda, and all kinds of goodies found at “grown up” circuses, which were sold to them by the performers before the show began.

Teachers also were coaxed into participating in the festivities, as they were told to stand on stage and balance a large feather in their hand. The teacher who was able to balance the feather for the longest amount of time received prizes for their class.

The event was coordinated by kindergarten teacher Taniya Christian.
