Glad To Support Good Cause

Recently, a disabled Jewish individual came to see me in my office and related to me how his best friend, his neighbor, originates from Syria. In spite of the neighbor’s own obligations, he always found the time to care for this disabled man.

I really felt this sums up the wonderful relationships that exist in our community. When we care for each other and feel for each other’s plight this truly brings us together, as we are all G-d’s children.

Bearing this in mind, I just wanted to acknowledge our own Councilman Lew Fidler for his recent stand at City Hall to highlight the importance of understanding and sympathy for others regardless of race or nationality. With such leadership, I know we will only continue to bring our wonderful community closer together.
