TV Q&A

Q: The actor who plays Lucky on “General Hospital” looks very familiar to me. I can’t quite place where I’ve seen him before though. Can you help? Deanna J.

A: That’s Greg Vaughan. Most likely you remember him from “Charmed” where he played Dan, Piper’s love interest, from 1999-2000.

Q: What were they thinking when they promoted Dr. Archie Morris to chief resident on “ER.?” I mean, the guy’s a horrible doctor! Chris T.

A: As Scott Grimes, who plays Dr. Morris, says, “The good thing about chief residency is it’s about scheduling and not really about medicine. I think they just feel he’s a horrible doctor, so let’s put him in administration so he can get away from our patients.”

Q: Is it true that “The Simple Life” is going to be recast? I mean, those two airheads, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, seem perfect for the premise of it. Why the recast? Carla B.

A: Apparently, the two young ladies are no longer best friends, and there’s been a lot of tension between them. Although no one is saying for sure, it’s rumored that a replacement for Nicole Richie is seriously being considered. Why her? Don’t ask me! If I had any say-so, I’d get rid of them both. On second thought, I’d probably scrap the whole business!

Q: I heard that Evangeline Lilly from “Lost” is going to be the new Wonder Woman in the big screen version. True? Hayley G.

A: There are lots of rumors regarding who’s going to step into Lynda Carter’s boots for Joss Whedon’s big-screen version. However, that’s all they are - rumors. According to someone who’s involved in the production, casting hasn’t even begun yet.
