For a limited time only, Vikki’s, at Avenue N and Ralph Avenue, is presenting a daily Early Bird Special between 11:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. The meal includes soup, salad, entrée with potato or pasta and vegetable with beverage and dessert. (You can find a ten-percent-off coupon in Vikki’s full-page advertisement in this edition of the Canarsie Courier.)

The menu has plenty of different types of food to choose from including Italian and Greek, plus many pasta, chicken, veal, steak and seafood dishes. There’s also a kid’s menu, making it a great place to bring the family. Not only do they serve yummy breakfasts of omelets, waffles, pancakes and French toast, they also have sandwiches and burgers for lunch. Plus, if you’re looking for something a little healthier, Vikki’s has specialty salads, wraps and Low Calorie Platters. They also have varying daily specials posted regularly.

The customer can feel confident walking into this clean and comfortable environment. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating and the surroundings are well maintained and suitable for a casual meal. The walls are decorated in harbor and sea artwork featuring boats and a swordfish mounted over an open kitchen where the chef is visible to customers. One has the choice of sitting at the counter, booth or table, making Vikki’s a place fitting for any mood.

Louis, a Vikki’s employee, says he hasn’t been working there long but has grown quite fond of the restaurant and his colleagues. “Vikki’s is one of those places you walk into and feel right at home. I like working in a place where the waiters know their regular customers’ order. I look forward to going to work in the morning.”

The restaurant is open seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sundays. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and all food is cooked fresh daily. Vikki’s also does all baking on premises and has catering for all occasions.
