Former Holy Family Pastor Laid To Rest
     Hundreds of devout Catholics attended a solemn Funeral Mass at Holy Family Church last Saturday for Monsignor Raphael A. Florido, who had been pastor of the church from 1974 to 1990. Msgr. Florido passed away on Wednesday, February 16. He was 84.

Thieves Grab A Bunch Of Cell Phones In Glenwood Rd. Burglary
     Police suspect there may be a pattern leading up to the burglary early last Monday of a cell phone store here. According to a report from the 69th Precinct, J & J Cellular, 9611 Glenwood Road, was burglarized around 3 a.m. on February 21, apparently by three men who cased the store beforehand.
