Obituary

John H. Manno, a Canarsie resident for most of his life, died De. 24th, 2004 in Good Samaritan Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past two years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the 304th Field Artillery of the 77th Division, taking part in landings in the Philippines, Guam and Okinawa.

He is survived by his wife, Anne, daughter Cecilia Sessa, and grandchildren Amanda, Julia and Michael, and a brother Ted and several nephews and nieces. Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
