Special Pet Adoption Event Set For The Winter

‘Tis the season to begin again! Animal Care & Control, the city’s pet adoption agency, realizes that chilly winds, snow and rainy weather may preclude that otherwise intended visit to the local shelter to select a new furry family friend. Therefore, a 2005 Winter Pet Extravaganza is in full swing, making pet adoption now through March 20, an opportunity you can’t afford to refuse.

Special packages to encourage pet adoption are in place through the first day of spring. Ddo it now and the perks include neutering, micro-chipping, a free vet visit and vaccines. Adoption fee for cats/ kittens only $50,00 and for dogs or puppies $80.00. Shelter adoption hours are seven days a week, Noon to 7:00 PM.

Watch for special additional off site adoption locations in your area, including one this Sunday, January 16, from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, at the Prospect Park skating rink. Cats, kittens, puppies and dogs will be available to take to a loving home. Dog license applications will also be accepted.
