SSHS Student Stabbed Outside Of Classroom
By Charles Rogers

A 17-year-old South Shore High School student received what were described as “superficial” stab wounds last Monday morning at the Flatlands Avenue school, according to sources.

The victim was treated at the scene, taken to Brookdale Hospital and pronounced in stable condition.

The boy said that he was confronted by seven or eight other students, one of whom asked of the others, “Is he a Blood?”

The answer was negative, but someone else then said, “Let’s get him,” according to an acquaintance of the victim.

The boy ran up a flight of stairs, but couldn’t evade his attackers and one stabbed him with what appeared to be a pen. The attackers then fled in various directions.
