A: Amy Davidson, who also stars on the show, agreed with you initially. She says, “At first, I didn’t see how he fit, and I think almost all of us felt that way, but I look at a show now, and he totally fits in the Hennessy family.” Amen to that! * * * Q: What’s going on with Joshua Jackson since “Dawson’s Creek”? I haven’t heard anything. Kim B. A:. Jackson is preparing for his first appearance on the London stage in David Mamet’s “A Life in the Theatre,” wherein he portrays a young actor learning about the business from a vet played by none other than Patrick Stewart. He also did voiceover work for “Racing Stripes”, and is on tap for Wes Craven’s “Cursed”, a comedic scary movie about people attacked by a werewolf. It’s set for release next month. * * * Q: What’s Burt Reynolds been up to these days? Frank D. A: Next month, during February sweeps, you can catch Burt doing a guest stint on “King of Queens”. In it, he’ll portray Doug’s (Kevin James) ex high school football coach. It was Kevin himself who asked Burt to be on the show after the duo became friends on the set of “Grilled”., an upcoming big-screen comedy. By the way, “Grilled” also stars Ray Romano of “Everybody Loves Raymond” fame. * * * Q: What happened to “The Shield” on FX? Has it been cancelled? Please say it’ll be back! Chris W. A: The fourth season of the show went into production this month with Glenn Close on board as Capt. Raw-ling. Apparently, her character is set to shake things up big time on the series. You can look for new episodes to be broadcast in April.
