Blockbuster Block Party For E. 98th St. Residents

Block Party organizers Marjorie Williams, Leslie Jack, Rev. Peter Allen and Oswald Charles. Residents of East 93rd Street took to the street to party and strengthen harmony with their neighbors at the 2nd Annual Block Party last Saturday. And, according to reports, it was a blockbuster event as everyone enjoyed lively music, tasty foods and camaraderie on the ethnically-diverse block.

East 93rd Street Block Association vice president Peter Allen said that the organization has been working to beautify the street and working with police to fight crime.
