“Our Giving Tree” through December 19th. Each year a “high Light” of our Parish Advent celebration and sharing has been to provide over 400 children’s gifts to four local organizations providing shelters for abused mothers and children. Exchanging gifts is fun; giving gifts to those who have nothing to give in return except a little give Christmas, is Ministry...Good Stewardship!
Tags, shaped as ornaments, will be hanging on our tree and marked with age & gender or size of the child you will be purchasing a gift for. The idea is to take one (or more), purchase a modest gift for the boy or girl and return the gift to the tree by Dec. 19th. wrapped and with the tag firmly attached. They will be picked-up and available to the organizations for Christmas distribution.
Please...no guns or toys of violence. This is very important, so please do not let children take tags you will not buy a gift for.
