Q: Do you have any idea if “Whoopi” and “Happy Family” are coming back on the air? I so enjoyed them both. It seems such a shame when they get some decent, funny shows on, and then they take them off. Thanks. Lorraine V.
A: Both shows were cancelled due to low ratings, Lorraine, and they won’t be coming back. So sorry about that!

Q: How long will Raven continue doing her show for the Disney channel? It seems she’s lasted longer than such shows as “Lizzie McGuire” and “Even Stevens”. Hayley F.
A: “That’s So Raven”, her show on Disney, has made Disney Channel history with 65 episodes already ordered. By the time the third season wraps, it will have made it to 72. However, that may be it since Raven has, as she puts it, “a lot to do next year.” Primarily, she’ll be on tour, promoting her “This Is My Time” album, and will be shooting the big-screen flick, “All-Ameri-can Girl.” As for her image, Raven has no plans to go the pop-tart route. She says, “You can be beautiful and sexy and not have to do anything raunchy. If you smile the right way to the right person, you can be sexy in sweats.” Thank goodness she’s got a good head on her shoulders!

Q: What happened to Simone (Terri Ivens) on “All My Children”? I haven’t seen her for a while. Gina S.
A: Terri is on maternity leave, having recently given birth (October 9) to daughter Kianna Elle. Ivens and hub-by Mark Osgood are enjoying some quality time with the new addition to their family. However, she is expected back on the soap by the end of the year, which is any day now.

Q: I’ve been collecting DVD’s of my favorite TV shows. I was wondering if there were any plans for a DVD set of “Scrubs.” Jim L.
A: As a matter of fact, the DVD set of “Scrubs” should be released sometime next year.
