A Rewarding Day For 69th Precinct

Photos by Philip Robinson The 69th Precinct held its annual Medal and Family Appreciation Day ceremony last Sunday at the Midget Squadron Yacht Club on Paerdegat Ave-nue North. The yearly event honors the precinct’s officers with awards and me-dals recognizing their outstanding service.

The various awards are sponsored by local politicians—State Senator John Sampson, Assemblyman Frank Seddio and Councilman Lew Fidler—and the precinct’s Community Council, among others.

New York City Police Commissioner Raymond E. Kelly was a special guest.
