District Health & Safety Fair Set For Canarsie Park June 19

To promote awareness of health and safety issues within the School District 18/Region 6 community, the Safe Schools/Healthy Students (SS/HS) Ini-tiative will host its First Annual Health & Safety Fair on June 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Canarsie (Seaview) Park.

The fair is designed to provide the community with the opportunity to learn about local resources, receive free screenings and literature and garner an overview of mental and physical health issues and trends. For more information, call (718) 968-6100.
