Q. I really miss "Touched by an Angel." What is Roma Downey, the star of the show, up to these days? Lorraine S.

A. Roma is the new host of PAX’s "It’s a Miracle," taking over where Richard Thomas left off. You can also catch her in an upcoming CBS movie co-starring Jacqueline Bisset. On the big screen, she’ll be starring in a comedy called "Hairy Tale." By the way, if I’m not mistaken, reruns of "Touched by an Angel" run regularly on PAX.

Q. I haven’t heard much about Emilio Estevez, Charlie Sheen’s brother. Did he quit acting? Jenny L.

A. Estevez is working on "L.A. Riots Spectacular," a spoof about the riots that took place in Los Angeles after the cops accused of beating Rodney King were acquitted. How you can spoof that is beyond me, but, hey, that’s Hollywood!

Q. What happened to NBC’s new show, "Coupling"? They hyped it up like crazy before the season started, and now it’s nowhere to be found. Personally, I didn’t like it, but that’s just me. Sandy P.

A. You weren’t alone in disliking the raunchy show. When the ratings plunged like an anvil, NBC first put the show on "hiatus." They then had second thoughts and decided to cancel it altogether. The British producers behind the show, which was imported from England, aren’t too happy. They feel all the hype is what actually did the show in. As one exec sniffed, "You can’t tell people what to watch." Indeed, but then again, it’s apparent people didn’t like what they were watching, whether they were told to or not.
