Canarsie Community

Reformed Church

We are located at 1155 East 93rd Street (near Conklin Ave.). Our phone is 718-649-3759. Our pastor is Rev. Felix A. Busby. We are a culturally diverse church, seeking to reconcile all God’s children to Christ, through the renewing of the spirit and mind, and by living in conformity to the Word of God through Jesus Christ.

Weekly church activities begin on Sunday mornings with Sunday School for children and teens at 10:45AM and Sunday Service at 11:00 AM with sermons on inspirational and insightful topics. Au-dio tapes of each Sunday’s sermon are available immediately after services. Large print Bibles are available for the visually impaired, and a Conduc-tive Loop System adaptable to T-switch to assist the hearing impaired is in place.

Prayer Services are held on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, Bible Study on Thursdays at 7:00 PM, and Youth Group Meetings on Fridays at 6:30PM. All those who are interested are welcome and encouraged to participate. Special services include Com-munion every first Sunday, and Healing Service every fifth Sunday.

Van service is available for Sunday morning service, Sunday School, and weekly Bible Study. To request transportation, please call the Pastor’s office and leave a message.

Our Lady of

Miracles Church

Our SUMMER schedule of masses are: Saturday, 5:30PM. Sunday 8:30 AM (English). 10:30 AM (English & Italian). 12:30PM (French & Creole)). Our weekday mass schedule is Monday to Saturday 8:30 AM only.

Our Food Pantry, sponsored by the Canarsie Cluster, (Our Lady of Miracles, St. Jude & Holy Family) is available for those in need. It is open on Fridays & Saturdays at 9:30AM both days. If you or your family is in need of food, please stop by the rear basement doors of Our Lady Of Miracles Rectory. Also, anyone who cares to donate any food, the pantry is in need of dry milk, cold cereal, peanut butter & jelly, mayonnaise, cooking oil, tuna fish, corn beef hash and paper goods and whatever else.

Anyone interested in having an Annual Votive Candle lit for a loved one, please call the rectory at 1-718-257-2400.

Every Monday evening at 7:30PM the Haitian Prayer Group meets in the Rectory Basement. Every Tuesday evening at 8:00PM in our Parish Center, Charismatic Prayer Group meets The Italian Prayer Group meets on Thursdays at 8:00PM in the Rectory Basement.

Religious Education Registration of new students and re-registration of continuing students will be open in August.
