NY’s Bravest thinking of america’s new heroes

Members of Engine Co. 323 in Mill Basin wanted to do something to show their support for the troops in the Middle East. Kiernan Mooney (third from right)has a Marine lieutenant cousin serving with the Third Battalion, “L”Company, in Kuwait, where the firefighters this week shipped three dozen T-shirts, they helped design, bought and paid for. The front of the shirt has a New York City Fire Department insignia in which the Marine Corps emblem is inserted.
