Toying Around For Tots

Councilman Lew Fidler and Brooklyn’s 41st Assembly District Club Democrats didn’t let last week’s wintry weather stop them from kicking off the U.S. Marines’-administered second annual Toys for Tots Holiday Drive last Thursday. More than thirty people showed up to donate six dozens of toys, which is only 28 shy of this year’s of collecting 100 toys for needy children. Those who wish to donate can still do so as the drive concludes this evening from 7- 9 p.m. at the club, at 2952 Avenue R, near Haring Street.
