Remembering Ramadan

Borough President Marty Markowitz marked the culmination of the holy month of Ramadan last week with Eid al-Fitr, the Festival of Fast-Break-ing, with representatives from Brooklyn’s Muslim community at Borough Hall.  Markowitz said.  “This joyous occasion is another example of the incre-dible diversity that makes Brooklyn the greatest place in the world.
