Man Found At Pier Dies From ‘Self-Inflicted’ Wounds

     A 39-year-old Seaview Avenue man, who had been reported missing the previous day, was pronounced dead last Saturday morning at Kings County Hospital after he was found semiconscious off Canarsie Pier.

     When a construction crew working last Thursday on improvements to the inner courtyard of South Shore High School at Flatlands and Ralph avenues accidentally damaged some conduits that feed power to the three-story building, it resulted in a "smoke condition."
