Police from the 69th Precinct try to restrain resident of house on East 82nd Street as she came home Friday to find her home (background) in flames. Firefighters from Engine Co. 257 and Ladder Co. 170, as well as others, responded to the blaze at about 3:30 p.m. on October 19th, and said it was a one-alarm fire. Neither firefighters nor residents were injured. Firefighters did say, however, that a dog was killed. Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire but said it did not look suspicious.
