Manhattan Children’s Museum Eliminates Fee For September

To help all New Yorkers come together, the Children’s Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) is opening its doors for FREE through the month of September. Special art workshops and musical performances will be held to help children and their families deal with their feelings and concerns during this uncertain time. Programs scheduled for September 16th include:

• Wishing Trees where the children of New York can place their wishes and hopes for the world on its branches

• Musical performances by acclaimed Broadway and television star Mandy Patinkin

• Badges of Courage art workshops where children can make badges to honor and thank local police and

firefighters for all they’ve done to help the City of New York

• Music & Watercolor workshop where children and their families can relax, listen to music, make watercolor

paintings and talk about what ever is on their mind.

The Children’s Museum of Manhattan is located at 212 West 83rd Street.
