Letters To The Editor Thankful For CB 18 Action Editor:
     In recent years, the intersection of East 103rd Street and Avenue K has seen an increase in motor vehicle accidents and an escalating risk of personal injury to its many traversers. The intersection, which borders P.S. 279 at its southwest corner, has been an issue of concern for students, parents and faculty alike for quite some time. Already a heavily traveled roadway, it is deluged with additional pedestrian and vehicular traffic each morning and afternoon. Efforts to have a school crossing guard posted at the intersection for one hour morning and afternoon slots, while the kids are traveling to and from school, yielded no positive outcome.
