United Canarsie South Civic (New Name)
To avoid confusion with the South Canarsie Civic Association, the Canarsie South Civic Association has decided to prefix its title with the word "United." Therefore, the group will now be referred to as the "United Canarsie South Civic Association." The group covers the area west of Rockaway Parkway and south of Seaview Avenue.
