Q: I’ve been watching "Androme-da" on the Sci-Fi channel. I’d never heard of it before, but was pleased to see Kevin Sorbo, ex "Hercules", starring in it. A friend tells me this show has been on for a while. Is this true? I thought it was new. Gina K.

A: The show has been on for four years in syndication, so I don’t know how you missed it. However, as Kevin himself says, "I feel it’s one of those shows some people will discover after we’re no longer shooting it." He’s probably right. In any event, the up-coming season will be the last. Kevin has expressed interest in doing a sitcom. As you may know, he’s guested on "Hope and Faith" and "Dharma and Greg".

Q: Whatever happened to Erin Torpey, who played Jessica on "One Life to Live"? Janie W.

A: Erin was in an episode of CBS’ "The Handler" in January. Right now, she’s working on "Dirty Deeds," a movie which is supposed to be something akin to "American Pie."

Q: I know that the upcoming season of "Everybody Loves Raymond" is supposed to be the last, but they said that last year, too. Any chance it could go longer than that? Karen T.

A: Well, if CBS network chief Les Moonves, has his way, it will. How-ever, executive producer Phil Rosenthal has said no way. The only thing he will say is that if a story comes out that needs pursuing as they’re working on the last season, they may stretch it another episode or two, but that’s it.

Q: What can you tell me about the ABC shows, "It’s All Relative" and "Married to the Kellys"? I really enjoy those shows, but I’ve heard they won’t be back next season. True? Marilyn V.

A: True. Neither show was renewed. Both suffered from rather lackluster ratings. While we’re on the subject, it was a little shocking that NBC pulled the plug on "Whoopi." That really came as a surprise.
