Friday night service begin with Shir Hashirim at 7 PM.

Everyone is invited to attend our Kiddush this Shabbat, after services.

Rabbi Rakowitz conducts a class immediately following the Kiddush on Shabbat morning. Saturday evening Tehilim and Torah Study at 6:30 PM, followed by Seudah Shilisheth.

Daily services at 7:00 AM, Sunday services at 8:00 AM, Shabbat services at 8:30 AM.

Ladies Perek Class for the Canarsie Community will be held at the Sephar-dic Jewish Center of Canarsie, located on Flatlands Ave. and E. 94th Street, this Shabbat, May 22nd, at 4 PM. Rabbi Rakowitz will conduct the class and Sephardic refreshments will be served. Everyone is invited and ad-mission is free.

You are cordially invited to join us at Shavuot services to commemorate the giving of the Torah at Mt. Sinai. Shavuot, Tuesday May 25th services at 7:55 PM, light candles 7:57 PM, Shavuot, Wed. On Shavuot, there will be Kiddush each morning. Kiddush sponsor on Wednesday, May 26th will be Sarah Behar in memory of her mother Zim-bul Beha;, sponsor on Thursday, May 27th will be the family of Jack Fintz in his memory.

On Shavuot we decorate our home and synagogue with flowers and greens, and we emphasize dairy foods. In the synagogue we read the Ten Command-ments, the Book of Ruth, and the poem Azharot. In the mornings, we read the Ketubah, the Marriage Cov-enant between G-d and Israel. Tra-ditional Shavuot night for Torah Study, for information call 718-257-0400.
