Shrine Of St. Jude

Bereavement: A reminder! Our parish has a First Monday of every month at 7:30 P.M. Anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one is welcome to join this group. Healing can occur for individuals as they share their grief with others who are suffering in a similar way. The grieving process is unique for each person. The group offers support for the process.

First Friday: This Friday, May 7th, 2004 is the First Friday. Please come and spend time with Jesus at the First Friday Adoration, which will begin immediately following the 8:45 AM Mass. Our daytime Adoration will conclude with Benediction at 9:00 PM.

The First Friday Nocturnal Adoration begins at 9:00 PM until 8:00 AM Saturday morning in the Chapel. The Divine Mercy Chaplet and Prayers will be prayed hourly.

If you wish to participate, please use the church entrance on East 95th Street.

First Holy Communion: Please pray for our children who will be receiving their First Holy Communion on Saturday May 8th.

Bible Study: Our Spring Bible Study will focus on the Book of Job from the Old Testament. It will occur each Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. at Holy Family School on Flatlands Ave. and East 98th Street. This is part of our cluster adult faith formation program.

Bi-Lingual Masses: The 12:30 PM Mass is our Bi-lingual Mass. The first reading, the Psalm and some of the hymns will be in the language of the day.
