Rabbi Joshua Minkin, Cantor Doris Cohen, Presidents Warren Nadel and Leonard Strum, the officers and trustees invite you to join us in prayer every Friday night at 8:00PM and Saturday morning at 10:00AM. Following Friday service, please join us for Oneg Shabbat.

Get well wishes to any of our Temple members, family or friends who are ailing. Best wishes to all who are celebrating "April Simchas". Mazel Tov to Sarah Leibowitz on the Engagement of her granddaughter Rennie to Lance. Important dates: Friday night, April 30th at 8:00 PM we will be having our second children’s service. All Hebrew students musts attend. For those of you who missed the first service, please try to make this one, it is most enjoyable, and the kids work very hard. Classes: A new adult class will begin on Friday nights, after services. Saturday mornings, 9:30 - 10:00 AM weekly study.

On Sunday, July 25th our annual Brooklyn Cyclone games, see office for details or Warren Nadel.

Come to the senior center at Temple Emanu-El for a hot lunch made in our kitchen, a game of bingo, cards and other enjoyable activities that go on each day. We are street assessable, come meet old friends and make new ones.

Temple Emanu-El recognizes the Jewish community’s commitment to Canarsie and its surrounding areas. We are an active, modern, yet traditional congregation with strong values.

New members are always welcome. Our Hebrew school provides you’re child with a solid education in a warm atmosphere. We welcome any new students to join our Hebrew school.
