No Injuries In E. 92 St. Crash Thursday

There were no injuries, but plenty of damage done to cars and nearby landscapes, when these cars collided at the corner of East 92 Street and Avenue K last Thursday afternoon. According to 69th Precinct police, the 2004 Infiniti (right) was traveling west on Avenue K at about 1:30 p.m. on April 1 when the collision with the 1999 Nissan, which was traveling north on East 92 Street, occurred. The Infiniti wound up on the lawn at the northwest corner of the intersection, destroying a chain link fence and some street signs in its path. Local residents are asking for a traffic light be erected at the site because of the frequency of accidents there. Charles Rogers
