Scores Enjoy Huge Easter Parade & Festival

The Parks Committee of
Community Board 17 and the Wyckoff Farm-house Museum last Saturday sponsored an Easter Parade & Festival that was so successful they said it was surely the first of many annual events to come.

With the theme: "Revitalizing & Re-generating Ourselves and Our
Community," the event included a giant Easter Egg Hunt (for children of all ages), an Easter Hat Fashion Show, racing, hoop-rolling, among other
activities, including a Children’s Hat Workshop, with youngsters making
outrageous Easter bonnets for
everyone to enjoy.

The parade started at Utica Avenue and Avenue D in East Flatbush and proceeded to the famous Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum on Clarendon Road near Ralph Avenue, where scores of attendees enjoyed more games and a tour of the historical site.

Sponsors assured the revelers that the event was such a success they are already planning for the Easter festival again next year.
