Local Activist Appointed To

Mayor Michael Bloomberg last week appointed local community activist Josephine Bolus a member of the Board of Directors of the New York City Health and Hospital Corporation. Bolus, who has been a Registered Nurse for 33 years, received her B.S. degree from Brooklyn College. She is the first RN to serve on the prestigious board. The appointment will continue for the next five years.
