Police from the 69th Precinct this week said a drug seizure that took place last week here made a total of four separate arrests on the charge of illegal possession of marijuana in the first degree within the last two months.

Sergeant Joel Dickerman said Police Officers Ikim Whitley and Chris Robinson were on routine patrol on Wednesday, March 17 at 6 p.m. when they stopped a vehicle driven by Ini Blair, 38, of Maryland for a minor infraction. While questioning Blair, they found he was in possession of 80 pounds of alleged marijuana and quickly arrested him.

"Since January," Dickerman said, "we have seized a total of more than 200 pounds of marijuana."
