 | | When the grand reopening of the Paerdegat Avenue Library was cancelled last week because of structural problems with an adjacent building, Assemblywoman Helene Weinstein and the librarians didn’t want to disappoint area school children from P.S. 251 and the Little Scholars School who were scheduled to participate in the ceremony. Instead, Weinstein (above) read various children’s stories to the youngsters at their school. |
