Toys For Joy
 | | State Senator Carl Kruger (rear) joined forces this week with members of the U.S. Marine Corps, 6th Communication Battalion to spread holiday cheer to underprivileged Brooklyn children. A multicultural group of chid- ren visited the senator’s office on Monday to accept the gifts. The Marine Corps donated the toys as part of their perennial Toys for Tots initiative. “There is no better gift we can give than to brighten the lives of children,” Kruger said. “I commend the members of the U.S. Marine Corps for answering this call here at home, and the Brighton Beach BID for helping us bring smiles to these youngsters’ faces.” |
