TV Q&A

By Evelyn Ludvigson

2003 DBR Media, NC

Q: I adore the new series "Las Vegas" and am particularly smitten with Josh Duhamel. What can you tell me about him? Before this series, I’d never heard of him. By the way, please tell me he’s single! Linda K.

A: Obviously, you don’t watch soap operas. Josh rose to fame in the role of Leo on "All My Children." He’s 31, and his hometown is Minot, N.D. He stands 6’3". While he is still single, he’s set to marry Kristy Pierce, a commercial actress, next May.

Q: I know Tom Cruise is hot and heavy with actress Penelope Cruz. Tell me, how is his ex, Nicole Kidman, doing? Is there anyone special in her life? Rita K.

A: Nicole’s significant other is Lenny Kravitz. The two are rumored to be engaged. Recently, Lenny had an intimate get-together at his Miami mansion. The evening brought together members of Lenny’s family, including his ex-wife, Lisa Bonet, and their 15-year-old daughter Zoe.

Q: I’ve been a fan of John Walsh ever since he first came to our attention when his little son was tragically murdered. How is his show doing over-all? I watch it whenever I can and think it makes a real difference. Randi P.

A: I’m sorry to report that "The John Walsh Show" has been cancelled. However, new, unaired episodes will run through February. When the show first started, it was an offshoot of "Ame-rica’s Most Wanted," which Walsh hosted. This season, though, it took a different turn and descended into regular talk-show stuff. Ratings were never great to begin with, but they took a real nosedive, thus the decision to give the show the ax.
