Taking A Break From The Big Cleanup
Members of the United Canarsie South Civic Association have recently been working closely with the city’s Department of Parks and Recreation in cleaning up Canarsie Beach Park. According to officials of the group, for the last few months the park has seen an "extensive improvement" thanks to the labors of the civic association and Parks personnel under the supervision of District 18 Park Manager Art Decesario and local manager Guy Battista.
