Question: What do you think the Board of Education should do with the additional funds that a judge recently ruled are due New York City?

"They should use them for programs and tools for the kids, not just the basic or minimum requirements of reading and writing, but math and sciences to help them become productive adults." Michael Traverso

"I think the money should be used exclusively for education, and not be put into the city's general fund. It could be used to build schools or repair existing ones, buy supplies, start youth programs or give raises to teachers." Philip Astuto

"I think there should be more after school programs, more teachers and more schools. Funds should be made available to provide needed supplies, so teachers need not ever pay out-of-pocket, as some have had to do." Judy Ashkenazy
